Specialties
Early Intervention PT
I am a physical therapy provider through Georgia's Babies Can't Wait program. I provide PT services at patient's homes and in the community to improve their development and participation in every day life!
Developmental Delay
I have over 5 years of experience as a pediatric PT treating children with developmental delay. Delays sometimes occur due to underlying conditions that may or may not be diagnosed yet. I am skilled at screening patients with delays to determine if they should see a specialist for further testing and diagnostics.
Torticollis and Plagiocephaly
Torticollis (neck tightness) is often related to baby's positioning during pregnancy. It places a baby at higher risk of flat head (plagiocephaly) as well as developmental delays. By using a whole body treatment approach, I can help relieve underlying muscle tension and imbalances to help babies develop symmetrical strength and movement.
Bodywork to Support Infant Feeding Skills
Often infants who struggle with nursing or infants with tongue ties have underlying muscle and fascial tension throughout their body. By providing specialized infant massage, myofascial release, and strengthening techniques, I can help support infants with nursing and improve their skills pre/post tongue tie revision.
Genetic and Neurological Conditions
Early diagnosis and treatment of neurological and genetic conditions help infants and toddlers to achieve their maximum function. Studies have shown that early therapy services improve outcomes and skills in children with a variety of diagnoses.
General Breastfeeding Support
As a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, I can assist with assessing latch, evaluating milk transfer, decreasing maternal pain with nursing, general breastfeeding troubleshooting, and support for supplementing, pumping, and returning to work.
